Jim White Project

Jim lost both of his legs, in 2008, to Peripheral Artery Disease. Jim and his family lived in a trailer that is more than 50 years old, and they could not afford to build a new home on their own.

The Mat-Su Home Builders Association, in conjunction with the United Protestant Church Low Cost Housing Fund, agreed to build Mr. White and his family a new home. The project was headed up by Bob Pevan, TruBuilt Construction and current 2011 President of the MSHBA.

The project was completed this summer with the original budget of $100,000 and the hard work of many Mat Su Valley residents.
